Hotel Ambassador - Zlata Husa*****, Prague. Welcome to our hotel built in 1920 in the Art Nouveau style on the famous Wenceslas Square directly in the centre of Prague. The hotel consists of two parts as its name Ambassador - Zlata Husa suggests. The history of the first one is quite straightforward in spite of the history of the second one, which is a bit funny. The owner of the hotel was a rich widow, who had a young but extremely ugly and silly daughter. The daughter was already in the age for getting marry but in spite of her possessing she remained single. She had never got married and for all that she was known in Prague by the nickname "Golden Goose" (Zlata Husa).
Our tastefully furnished comfortable rooms are all airconditioned, and have private marble bathrooms with jacuzzi bath and shower. All rooms are equipped with minibar, SAT TV, direct dial phone allowing conference calls with up to six persons, fax, internet access, safety deposit box and hairdryer.
The hotel is located at Wenceslas Square, a historical and cultural center founded by the famous king Charles IV that plays a major role in modern Prague society.
